Re: I'm Here!
Well, good. Feels nice, I'll bet, to have the anxiety part settled.
Sounds like rip-out is going to be the first major undertaking. That
should give you a chance to discover what the below-ground barrier is
and figure out what [if anything] to do about it. Sounds like fun.

Hi all-I'm officially in the new house. Moved over the weekend and
planted my first plants tonight. It was a chore!!!! There is
something under the soil that feels like concrete. I think someone
put something down to try and keep the running bamboo in check-
didn't work of course but now there are only certain places I can
plant. I have a lot of work ahead of me clearing out. I'm thinking
of hiring someone to help me. Wow is there a lot! SO, anyway I'm
happy and excited and wish I could spend all my time outside as it's
gorgeous here these days. However, I have to get the inside into
some sort of order as well. My mother is coming this weekend!

Ok, send your address when you get settled, and I'll have DH start
digging.
On second thought, perhaps I should have him start digging this
weekend - you know how far down Crinum plant themselves!

Thanks Daryl! That's very nice of you. Any Crinum you want to part
with I'd love, and some Musa basjoo would be great too. Got a ton
of ruellia, but thanks!
