Re: HGTV
It would be hard to let go of such beautiful plants.

Hi Tricia and all
We kept about 50 of our favorite varieties. It was hard to
narrow it down. This was a hard winter for them here at our house. I
think
they were spoiled at the greenhouse and they didn't like the benign
neglect
they got here. Actually my plumeria are taking forever to come back as
well.
When the plants were in good shape and blooming they were great. One thing
I
didn't like though was that to keep them healthy in a fairly congested
greenhouse I had to use a lot of pesticides. It bothered me that I was
spraying like Dr. Strangelove but that was the only way to keep them
looking
good. As soon as you got an aphid or whitefly or spider mite that was it.
Before you knew it you had a real infestation. I really don't look good
in a
hazmat suit.

I just watched the show this afternoon.
I am guessing that you all know
that Paul James is from Tulsa? Sometimes his
shows can be a little silly
but he is hoping to get his point across and
maybe you will remember it.
David, I think this was a very good informative
show. Thank you for giving
such great information. You really have or had
some beautiful plants. How
many did you keep?
