Yes, our cathedral lost it's copper guttering to thieves, but they did finally catch them.
Thieves have hit our nursery before, a few years ago, taking a couple hundred $s worth one night. You can't lock this stuff up. Campus police do come by and check periodically, but that's not a real deterrent.

Not a surprise. In our area, churches are being hit for electronics, copper pipes on the ac, and whatever can be sold.

We have our MG plant sale next week. I've done the whole nursery thing of
special plants all on my own, albeit much smaller than in the past. About
250 pots. I went over there to water today and someone had stolen the
nicest 3 gallon pot of Fernleaf Peony. I still have 11 of various sizes
left; hopefully no more will disappear this week. Geez, stealing from a
nonprofit.
