So glad Henry is doing well for you. He is robust, to say the least, for a 9 foot lily.

I agree with Gene. It looks like a Japanese maple to me. BTW, the lily is doing great!

If you like the seedling it is of value. Only one way to find out about it. Grow it on and see what you end up with, how it performs and looks. It will have the advantage of not being a graft.
