RE: OT/Internet Access

Our cable service here isn't the most reliable either, so we opted to go
through the phone company for our high speed service.  It has failed only
very briefly and very occasionally (knock on wood lest the carrier go down
for a few days!)

A few months ago I decided to get cable access to the Internet.  I have had 
one mess after the other since.  Today I connected via my telephone modem.  
Seems Time Warner is experiencing "noise leakage" in my area and don't know
when 
I'll be able to get back to broadband.  Some technology! HA!
