No. Saline nose drops are frequently recommended for small children, according to DH (also a pediatrician).

to let it back out. OK- kind of gross, but the truth- this is way you do
itin the shower. Make sure you use warm salty water- mildly less uncomfortable. It takes some getting used to the idea of purposefully sniffing water up your nose.
