Yup, Donna, fruit. Delicious fruit. Not too rare. Native to Mexico and Central America, but now grown commercially in Collifornia, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Most varieties don't ship well, otherwise your local super market would have it, especially if you have a sizable Hispanic population. You might find it at a bodega, if you have one near you.
