RE: Canna
Sounds beautiful, Pam! I love blue lobelia & alyssum! It's a marvelous
combination!

A few of mine are still blooming. Planted my pansies and alssyum today,
also couldn't resist a particularly nice gallon size bay (Laurel
nobilis). Got some rosemary (Arp) for a friend at work who lost her
mother this week. Also got a 6 pack of beautiful blue lobelia. They're
cooler weather plants here, so I'll see how they do in the blue and
white bed.

Subject: [CHAT] Canna
Yesterday when I was leaving the parking lot after work, I noticed a
canna blooming is an old section of our dump. So I detoured over to see
it. Pure, deep yellow. Very nice. So today I decided to go photograph
it. When I got there, however, it was gone. The whole plant had been
dug. Some coworker now has a yellow canna in his or her yard. Gonna
start taking my camera to work again.
