Well, I can see your point too....we adopted a family from the Salvation
Army - a single mother with two daughtes. The "rules" were $25.00 on
each person (if you want to spend more you can). For the children they
said to please buy one clothing item and one toy. They include a list of
things the children and mother need.

And I have six kids to buy for...and they get a lot of "what they need"
for Christmas because they outgrow their clothes so fast. The "bling and
designer clothing items" are not something I would get them either. But
a big soft teddy bear or doll would make most little girls very happy.

corrections employees! I hate how ungrateful so many of our adoptees
are. I'll only contribute stuff like socks and underwear, let them steal
