Re: New cat

Did the shelter offer any of Pearl's history? Perhaps previous owners
didn't allow it. She does sound as though it won't take long for her to
get comfy there.

The cat and I got home from the shelter at about 10 AM. Since then she 
has toured the house, oh, a couple of dozen times. Between tours, she 
either rubs against my legs or lays on the floor nearby. If I move from 
room to room, she either leads by anticipation or follows. Most odd 
thing--she will not get up on furniture unless I encourage it. But I 
suppose that's temporary; once she realizes there are no snakes on the 
futons, she be all over them.
