Where are you in Central IL? I'm here too. Petersburg, right outside of Springfield. 
 
I just moved here so I'll be interested to hear everyone's suggestions for your new yard.

I figure we'll have to take part of the Lonicera x heckrotti
(I'm fond of fragrant plants, too) !
