RE: Today in the Garden


When I first moved here, I was in wind and storm alley. It would be raining
here, but not in areas around me, like where I work. With all the new
construction that happened, the wind pattern has changed which also has
changed the rain pattern.

My land is higher than anyone's else's within a mile or so, which is why I
picked this lot.... so definitely not a low land. We have heavy clay, which
I have been working on since day one!

To clear some of the confusion- I do water them in, but don't continue to
water till freeze, which is what I thought she was referring to. One year I
felt it was too dry here, so I was watering late... that was the year I had
the problem.
