Dear All,
Thanks for your positive comments on my gardens! Yes Donna, that is the view
I see from the back of my house! We have a privet hedge and red cedars that
partially obstruct the view, but I think it gives us some privacy.
If we don't get some rain, I'm going to give all my bulbs a drink. I
noticed that the muscari are sending up shoots. Will this be ok? I rushed
home from school today to plant the last of the bulbs I'd purchased. I only
had an hour of daylight left, but they are all in the ground!
Kitty- I think that I'm going to put moss or creeping plants between the
round stones at the front of the spider - UF (Unusual Form: ie- twisty,
curly, cascading) daylily bed. I like being able to sit on the wall where
I've made a sort of bench.
I have a few species daylilies, but not Hemerocallis thunbergii. Kitty, do
you grow Narcissus albus plenus odoratus? I looked it up and it sounds
nice. I love fragrant flowers!
Jim- Nice orchid photo!
