Zem, that sharp temp drop killed off a lot of my tender hardies a few years ago. Rosemary, hardier scented geranium (Pelargonium), killed a couple of own root roses to the ground. Get every thing mulched & covered and keep your fingers crossed.

We are expecting severe weather today and are under a tornado watch until 5:00 this afternoon. It's about 75 degrees right now and will be below freezing by tomorrow night. This is real pneumonia weather, if you ask me.

Rich, we were predicted to get snow last night but only a scattering which is
fine with me. Glad you made it out of Ames and home okay. Last night the
news reported 8 funnels touched down. Pretty scary as to what may happen
next when you think about the weather events this past year.
