Re: Guess everyone survived

Supposedly it's going to rain late tonight and tomorrow.  Not holding my
breath, but I sure hope so.   Had to two-hand the trowel into the ground
yesterday and today to plant bulbs.  Then had to use the handle to break up
the solid clods and drop some compost in each hole.  Very tedious indeed.
Raked like crazy (just in case it does rain), spread compost over the veggie
bed, did some rock work and burned all the dead stuff in the burn barrel
yesterday since there was zero breeze.  Collected rose petals for potpourri
and harvested any seeds that wouldn't run away from me.  Gave all the roses
and shrubs their fall dose of greensand, plus coffee grounds for the
camellia & gardenia.  Whew.  No wonder I'm snoozing in my recliner.
