Hope you get to warm up soon, Jim. Here it's 17 F. wind chill 25 F actual,
but we'll warm up to a balmy 51 by 3pm.  

No cats here, but Mr. Face (one of our bulldogs) at 75lbs will let himself
back in when he's finished his constitutional as will Izzie and Mary.  With
the three of them, it's like having a bull in a china shop as they crash
through the door.  It is only Miss Susan who will wait patiently for me to
catch up to let her in.  Sassy (Mom's little toy fox terrier) just stands
outside and wines loudly.

Chilly beans here today! Colder than Omaha. Apparently, the cats can't
believe it either; they go out for, um, 10 minutes at a time then bang on
the door to get in again. Funny, because they have signature knocks--can
always tell by the bang which cat has had enough winter for the moment and
wants a little hearth time.
