Re: OT: Everyone must be....
Pam,
The new baby is doing great! He's up to 7.1 pounds as of yesterday, when he
had the last of his shots. I need to make an appointment to get him
neutered, but the vet says males are slower to develop than females and it
can wait a bit.
Rascal and Diesel mostly get along just fine, though Diesel washes him, then
beats him up every morning. Go figure. They sleep within inches of one
another, but after they wake up, it's like they've never seen one another
for the first hour or so. After the morning dust-up, they're mostly good
pals for the rest of the day, racing up and down the hall, jumping across
the dog, etc.
They usually have one more go-'round at night. I'm hoping that this is it
now, and we'll skip to 2AM round. We're awake, waiting for DH to come home.
His group is playing at the Buckhead Ballroom tonight.
I'm sure Dreyfuss (the dog) hopes this is it for the night, too. He's had
pyelonephritis for nearly a month. The Baytril is finally knocking it out,
though it means daily injections since he won't take the chewables. The
other antibiotics didn't touch it.

Yes I know they do, but I get to work so early (5:15) that I'm under
bright
lights early and that helps. Zem, you are anything but boring. And
Daryl,
I would have jumped off a precipice long ago if I were still up North.
How
is your new baby BTW?
