Re: baking


Update on turkey -
After a few hrs I thought I should stick the meat thermometer in to see if the bird was done. Opened the oven and it was barely warm, though it had really reached 350 b4 I put it in. Thermometer said 168, good enough, thnk goodness. I tried bumping the temp up and the readout showed currently only 115 degrees.

I think I'm gonna need a new oven.

Turned the oven on, prepared the turkey, then noticed oven doesn't work. Tried several times, even unplugged and replugged. Nothing. Drove bird to sister's house. Got back, oven works now. Drove back to sis house. Bird now in oven.
