Phooey. Well, I'm making spiced red onion rings, anyway, not turkey, and they don't look like walnuts no matter which way you turn them. Don't taste much like walnuts, either, come to think about it.

Speakiing of thanksgiving....
Turned the oven on, prepared the turkey, then noticed oven doesn't work. Tried several times, even unplugged and replugged. Nothing. Drove bird to sister's house. Got back, oven works now. Drove back to sis house. Bird now in oven.
