Re: rodent protection


I tried the castor oil trick years ago with unsatisfactory results. I didn't know that it comes in granules now. That might be better than the liquid.

       You may want to try castor oil granules, also. They are sold under
names like Dr/ T's Mole Out or Bonide Molemax. It works for many customers
here in Colorado against voles, which devistated our mums and agatache
perennials last winter.

Somehow doubt it'd keep the gnawers out. Hardware cloth would be
better; might have to anchor it with thin-wire ground staples.
