Thanks all for the good wishes. We are in Springfield. It was extremely cold on the drive over here from California, but the last couple of days have been better. I'm still freezing my .... off- going to take some time to readjust my internal thermostat. It was a long time ago that I lived in cold (Maine and Niagara Falls).

Theresa,
What a big change! I bet you will love Missouri! We have lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. WE loved it and you can grow so many things there. Â
I can't wait to hear more about what took you to Missouri!!

Hi all-
Big changes for us. Moved from California to Missouri this week. It is freezing here! Of, course. We will adjust, and too busy unpacked to be outside anyway. Will be fun this spring to see what new plants I can grow here : )

Glad you are ok, too! My garden has had weed invasion this year, and just when I was starting to wade in and clean out, the jet stream plunged us into winter! Looks like things will get a bit warmer this weekend, but it is also supposed to rain. Maybe Iâll have the front beds done by springâ Does anyone know a source for Queen of the Prairie (Filipendula rubra)? Was not able to find plants last spring.

Thanks for your concern. I miss all of you, but just don't have the patience to

I would love to hear about everyone's gardening year. Mane has not been very
good, but a few things stood out this fall - my grand Joe Pye Weed, andÂÂ for
the last couple of weeks aÂnice stand of Pineapple Sage (Salvia elegans) which
the freeze two days ago took down.

Thanks again for asking.

Good thinking, Donna. I think she is closer to New York City than Buffalo, but I have been thinking about her a lot lately. Auralie, are you out there? I know I have been freezing. Now we might be getting severe weather this weekend.Â
