Daryl - As a past Poinsettia grower, how can you economically handle
thousands of plants in this way?  Every time you handle "any" plant, it
costs. ( Labor). It does sound like a fasinating way to go.
I can remember when we had to " pinch " & prune azaleas by hand & along came
the chemical pinch. Boy, did it ever cut our labor costs. Thought I'd toss
that in as an example.
