We have a guy here in Oklahoma that speaks at a lot of our Master Gardener meetings. He is promoted as "The Tomato Man with Garlic Breath". He was a New York investor that quit it all to come home to take care of his dying mother. He turned into a heirloom gardener with tomatoes being his #1 and garlic being a close 2nd.
I found his address if anyone is interested. He used to have a web address but I can't find it.

that. Planted my garlic today, went through the whole ritual, soaked the
cloves in baking soda water, and then in an alcohol dip prior to planting,
even fertilized the planting bed. I'm just so proud,LOL. Talk to you

Rich, do you have the Asian lady beetles that move in after the beans have
been harvested? Ugh, they are terrible. They bite, smell & leave a
stain

smashed. I understand, after talking with a grape grower/wine maker they

a real problem for them. If I is collected with the grapes they have a

of wine taste. The grower said both he & his son, who are in business
together, ate a beetle to know what they taste like. He said they taste
