We've never had any trouble with anything chewing on any of our Hydrangeas
so far, but they are usually in a bed right close to the building. We have
a large bed in an open area which we call the Bunny Buffet. One of our
members built a new fence this year that can also be netted if necessary.
We plan to put our Asters and Mums there. When they get dug, we may put
shrubs in to overwinter. Last time we tried that, without caging,
everything was devoured.
