Never tried them. I found out about them just before I went digital. If I ever revive the old Nikkormat, I'll give them a try.

Have any of you used Snapfish.com? Before I got my digital it was all I used and now they have gotten better. They send you the mailers... so no cost out of pocket. Now I read that you can send your film to them and then if you want pick them up at a Wal-greens. Pretty wonderful.
I think the web site where you could read more and ask them to send you some mailers is www.snapfish.com
You can share them online and they will let you keep them online for free if you will just look at them within a certain time frame... can't remember all of it.
I loved it.

NYTimes had a piece awhile ago about how it was much cheaper to have Wal-Mart or Walgreen's or similar print your digital photos than to do it yourself.

I recently tried WalMarts digital printing service. The computer I have
here at work didn't have any large-file pics on it so I used the largest of
the small ones that I had taken off the internet. (yes, I know, copyright
and all that, but I wasn't really using them for anything) I selected 4
jpegs between 112 and 184 kb to print as 4x6s. They recommended that I not
print 2 of them as they were too small, but went ahead. Then an hour later
I just walked back there and picked them up. For such small files I was
really impressed at how good the photos looked. The only thing I didn't
like was the paper - too thin and matte finish (I prefer glossy).
Cost was cheap and I think I prefer having them printed than printing them
myself.

Before I had a digital camera that's what I did....when I got the film
developed at Wally World I had them put the pics on a CD so I could
attach pics to an e-mail. Pam got to see my two male peacocks out
strutting around and trying (but not succeeding) to scare off the
guineas. It was quite comical actually. Even the peahen ignored their
little puffed up dance.

Pam... get them also put on a cd- that way you can
easily email them to me!
