Re: Cats--progress note

Seamus is the youngest stray I've ever taken in. He was about 5 months old
when he wandered in. He doesn't care to be held, is usually off by
himself - often outdoors, more so than the others, even in the dead of
winter. If I sit still on a cold evening I'll have the other 4 cats laying
on me at one time or another, but never Seamus. Once in a great while he'll
hop into bed with me and lay so I can rub his tummy, pits, and chin, but if
I stop, he's off.

My take is that he was a kitten born to an outside cat, never held, and
adopted out. Didn't understand people and escaped. He even runs from me
when I come into a room, like I'm a cat-murderer. He can be fun and sweet
in his own way though. They are all special in their own way.

Kitty
