Andrea, maybe you should start one for SC! LOL Our Texas gardener
magazine is wonderful. But it's been around for a long time and Texas
gardening is just different. You go from zone 10 to 5 and it has every
imaginable climate, soil type and annual rainfall amount. My favorite
Master Gardener at the local nursery is from CA originally, got his hort
training in the Carolinas and has lived here for many years. And he tells
customers all the time that have migrated from elsewhere that gardening in
TX is not like gardening anywhere else. Every place has its own challenges
and advantages.

It has been a couple of years ago. I was so surprised when it was mentioned on the front cover! Kathy told me she didn't normally work with out of state authors but I guess that was an exception! I'm sure it was commendable. But then, FG would likely be my last source for information on Theobroma cacao. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT-- Pam Evans Kemp TX zone 8A --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
