Whew! Got it done. It will only be 54 tonight but tomorrow night 32, Thrs 29. All the tenders I'm planning to overwinter are potted up. The Acalyphas got really huge; I suppose I should cut them back.

Wow.  We still haven't had our first frost...leaves have a slight hint of
fall...asters and goldenrod in bloom...I'm still deadheading and have my
late crop of zinnias blooming...basil still ok.  I'm on my way to plant my
soft neck garlic, some spring daffodils ("Cum Laude" & "Bridal Crown"),
Allium schubertii, chryanthus "Gypsy Girl", Omithogalum nutans, and Scilla
siberica.

Probably earlier than norm but what is norm? Chances are it would not
last

long because the soil temps would still be warm.
