Oh- I wish we had geckos here!! I love their sticky feet on the windows. My kitties (and I) are adjusting to being a 2-cat household. I washed every blanket, cat bed, rug, etc that would go into the washer on Saturday. That seems to do the trick and my siamese finally stopped hunting for Chessie. He's taken up residence laying on the blanket next to me while I'm on the couch watching movies or playing on the computer. He doesn't purr as loud, but at least he's warm and fuzzy and nearby. I spent a couple hours this AM with a friend digging up random extra or unwanted plants out of my garden and loaded up the back of her hatchback until it was full. She's happy and so am I. I then had space to put the 3 new plants I got at the UCDavis Arboretum plant say yesterday. I bought a hybrid catmint, a Peruvian daffodil, and some kind of penstemon- all the tags are out in the garden and it's dark now... I then spent some time fixing, slicing, and freezing 9 jars of peaches for my winter enjoyment.

You never know. I saw a picture awhile back of a young cat sitting next to a little fluffy duckling. Sure wouldn't try that w/ mine, but ya never know. She's already eating moths and baby geckos that manage to get in the house somehow. On 10/7/07, Andrea Hodges <andreah@hargray.com> wrote:I would have to agree with Jim on that one.
