The detergent that was most effective at killing ticks was 'Clout', sold

through Costco, in "an amount slightly greater than the manufacture's recommendation for a moderate size load of wash".

In contrast, powdered Tide and liquid Heavy Duty Ultra both had about
35% efficacy.
