Was just staring aimlessly out the front door and marveling at the rain when I realized that there are three orchids now blooming in the orange jasmine tree that is directly across the front patio from the front door. I know of another, which is comfortably growing on the trunk of a very large bougainvillea on the side of the house, that is also blooming. I guess I need to check all of the other orchids once the rain stops.
Anyway, it's nice that the "orchid rescue" project we started 4-5 years ago is beginning to pay dividends.
