Me too Jim-I've got spikes all over, which is just thrilling. This is the first year I've had so many bloom. It's very exciting!

Was just staring aimlessly out the front door and marveling at the rain when I realized that there are three orchids now blooming in the orange jasmine tree that is directly across the front patio from the front door. I know of another, which is comfortably growing on the trunk of a very large bougainvillea on the side of the house, that is also blooming. I guess I need to check all of the other orchids once the rain stops.Anyway, it's nice that the "orchid rescue" project we started 4-5 years ago is beginning to pay dividends.Island Jim Southwest Florida 27.1 N, 82.4 W Hardiness Zone 10 Heat Zone 10 Sunset Zone 25 Minimum 30 F [-1 C] Maximum 100 F [38 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
