Re: magazine

They regularly round up people on Maryland's eastern shore who salt their fields with corn to attract the geese.

I'm with Kitty. I don't see the connection. Maybe you're supposed to
grow things in order to get critters into your garden and then you can shoot them. I have seen seed catalogs that advertise things like millet
or whatever to attract deer for hunters.

Pam, it's not so much about whether one feels passionately about both
topics. It's that I just don't see the CONNECTION between the 2 topics.

Interesting concept. I'm an avid gardener and a life member of the
NRA.
We're not all right wing nuts, y'know? Remember that Charleton Heston
was
among the first big people in Hollywood to support the Civil Rights
movement
in its early days, way before it became popular or fashionable. He
did
the
right thing. And like him, I believe the Second Amendment makes all
the
others possible. You aren't very free w/out the means to protect
yourself,
especially women. But I don't know too many people who feel
passionately
about both topics.

I rarely read magazines, so I just toss any offers I get. However,
this
one caught my eye:
Garden & Gun

????????????????

House & Garden, Better Homes & Garden - I can understand. But
Garden &
Gun? It claims to be the "Soul of the New South"

Think I'll pass.
