I'm sorry to hear your mom has lost her connection to you, so sad. I hope she is peaceful & happy where she is. My 2 great aunts lived long enough to develop a dementia. I don't know if it was alzheimers or something else. The last time I visited Aunt Eva, she didn't know me, but we were able to talk about the dish of pink wintergreen lozenges she always kept in her living room.

Texas was good, the Alzheimer's walk was a success, sister and neices all healthy and happy. Mom not good- doesn't recognize us any more. Was bound to happen, but it sucks.
