Also, rainy here.B Sep and Oct are usually drier but Sep had 6" rain while
the norm was 3".B Oct. is starting out with rain.

Well it's raining here now-not pouring, just a nice steady rain, which is a
good thing. September and October are notoriously dry here. My yard has been
like powder for days. Of course, Vidalia likes to play in mud puddles so I
expect some of this will end up in the house.

And good thing about these rain barrels is they have overflow hoses that are
directed into flowerbeds. B Keeps all that excess water away from the
house. B And you are right, it's feast or famine w/ rain around here. B Year
started off excessively dry (which was good because I was painting the
house). B It sure looks like it'll end up very wet.
