Re: MG classes


Cathy, that seems reasonable.  Trisha's 25 hours of education seems like it
would be difficult to manage every year.  I realize you shouldn't let
yourself slide, but the main reason fro being an MG is to support the County
Agent (by whatever name he/she is called in your county) in answering the
questions of the community and to help others grow via education.  If you
learn one thing well you can spend 50 times the amount of time it took to
learn it in sharing it with others.  If you spend a large amount of your
available time learning new things, your volunteering to the community might
suffer.  However, I have to say that we all spend much more than 25, more
than 100 hours a year learning about horticulture, but not in the ways that
qualify for ed hours.  I never stop learning, especially from you folks.
