Thank goodness the madness has not spread to Illinois! Of course, it is only a state MG conference, but it is next week, affordable and I'm going!

Zem,
I have bad news. After posting that last, I emailed our MG PA, since we
didn't have dates yet.
She just got word about the next SouthEast Regional. It looks like a great
trip if you've got the cash. A cruise from New Orleans to Mexico, with
speakers and a tour.
She put it up on our GMGA website at
http://www.ces.uga.edu/Agriculture/horticulture/Master%20Gardener/ SEConf.PDF
My reaction was
"Are they Nuts!?
Whatever happened to making the conferences affordable to all Master
Gardeners, regardless of their financial status?
Seems like it's turning into a garden club, rather than a volunteer
organization."
It sounds like a great trip, but it really ticks me off. I'm torn between
wanting to save up and wanting to boycott.
