Maddy, I have grown this one for several years and I have never been able to 
find seed.  I like the van houtii group even better than the guaraniticas.  I 
could not find seed on the burgundy form of v.h. but this year I have 'Paul' 
and I have gotten some seed.  It is fabulous!
