Char, I'd say Peaches must have had a pretty good life - at least that
second half.  I don't think you could have expected to have him much longer
than 20, so don't think it was the upheaval.  Wehn you finally get all
settled in, maybe you'll feel like filling that vacancy.  There are so many
animals needing good homes and I can't imagine not having a cat.  And I
think Rex might welcome a new friend.
