Hi, Sue. They are wonderful little creatures. I must have a zillion of them in my yard, A former office manager at work had an adventurous son who would catch them and hold them until they bit onto his ear lobes [this is not difficult, but don't try it at home, children], then he would come to our office with anoles dangling off either side.

That is so funny. When I moved to Tennessee from the FL Keys 7 years ago I
brought all my potted plants and kept them in my daughter's garage for a
couple of weeks. She's still finding geckos in her house. Unfortunately,

matter how much I assure her they are harmless, she's terrified of them.
