Salem's a pretty area. South of Portland, less rain out in the Willamettte valley. I can't remember how far inland. Check out Oregon's taxes though. They pride themselves on being very green, have done some interesting things with health care reimbursement. It's been a long time since I've been to Salem.

You betcha. I'd love to make a living doing what I love. My husband, daughter and I have all talked about wanting to live up there where Tony Vecca lived. I'm ready for a change. But, in reality, the nursery probably doesn't make enough to cover my expenses of moving up there and all that.....*sigh*.

turned. Soon, winter will come. Now is the time to let my garden go to
someone who will bring to it the vitality, life, and new growth of
spring.
