Re: instruction request- dryers and leaf blowers

Hang them on every towel rack and over the shower curtain rod, on the backs of chairs works too. If you have a ceiling fan, turn it on. It helps.

Must be an epidemic. Mine is doing the same thing. I did the leaf blower trick
(I think that was Kitty's original suggestion, thank you, I never would have
thought of it myself!) since our dryer is right next to the outside wall where
the vent is, but it didn't seem to help. I can feel some air coming outside
but I'm not sure just how much is supposed to be blowing out. The top of the
dryer is seriously hot so I'm shutting it down. I'll try having husband take
off the bottom of the dryer and we'll clean it out. Fortunately we are about
done with our weekends in the mountains this year so I can have a repair
person come next weekend if need be. In the meantime I'm wondering how I'm
going to dry those towels...I don't have a clothesline!

I told my husband that you folks were using a leaf blower/sucker to clean out
the dryer vents. Currently the same load is in the dryer since 5:30am and not
even close to being dry....

Although this seems easy enough to me, he is inquiring as to how you are
doing
this.....and I am not up to arguing, so asking....to keep peace. If I had the
time, I would just do it myself, but I don't.

geesh
