I'm taking out muscadine vine, bind weed, low hanging branches over walk areas. Also, lots of grass. Major project for next week is to put new soil in all my houseplants that have not had new soil in three-four years due to illness, surgery. So far, have replanted four. Until it gets cooler in day, we were up to 90+ today, I'm not planting pansies, kale, snapdragons. Avoid chrysanthemums due to allergies. When I get back from my son's wedding this weekend, I will begin to focus on planting my winter plants and flowers....pansies, ornamental kale, chrysanthemums, etc. On 9/1/10, Gene Bush <genebush@netsurfusa.net> wrote: > I know everyone, including myself, has been complaining about the > hot weather, broken records for sustained days of high temps, etc. > Could not stand it anymore.
