RE: trying Martha

I've tried several of Martha's recipes and I especially like the crispy
fried chicken and the toffee (ooh, the toffee). They were pretty easy to
make.
I know Martha gets dissed here a lot and I parody her myself, but she does
bring a lot of different ideas into the mainstream. I had never heard of a
cold frame until I started reading her magazine. I'm going to build one
next year.
The way to take her is with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Pick up a basic
idea and then go learn more about it elsewhere.
