Re: ROUNDUP


That was a good article Fran.  The emphasis on buffering the applied mixture 
was important.  Roundup is very acidic.  That is why RTU formulations as well 
as concentrates are sold in plastic with all plastic moving parts.  Around 
eastern Mass. so many communities have mega miles of lead pipes carrying 
water that the drinking water is buffered to be slightly alkaline.  Some 
parts of the exciting city of 
Boston used to, still might, have tap water at pH 9.  That negates the 
chemical before it can be applied.
