sungold tomatoes

Everyone (and Bill!)

Sungold tomatoes are wonderful. They were originally bred in Japan - I am
not sure the seed producer, but I think it's Tokita. They wholesale to T & M. 

If you grow them, be sure to wait until they turn slightly orange (if you
can!) They are slow to get going - but once they do, they will produce
until frost. I kept one alive in my greenhouse until February. 

Re: sources, John Scheepers has them in the Kitchen Garden catalogue (see
URL below in my signature); many other seed companies flog them including
West coast Seeds in BC. For Canadians, it's a better deal, since T & M
seeds are expensive in the first place, and by the time they get to Canada
are preposterous: taxes, tariffs, shipping, US$$, etc.
