Re: Please be patient, folks
Dear Lon and members of the GWL,
As a basic manufacturer of organic chemical products and a manager of a
small business, I have found the events of today interesting. As Mary
Weber, I received 50 emails today from your group without warning, and your
staff needs to figure out how to take me off the list. The instructions for
removal didn't work.
I don't recall ever being asked to be included in the group, I didn't go to
your site and sign up, I don't have a password, nor was I given any warning
that your conversion to a secure server was today. Frankly, I don't know
why my email address is on your list in the first place, but I can entirely
understand that you are having problems with the conversion, and that the
emails went out in an uncontrolled fashion. All I can say is welcome to
software problems.
In the fury of the moment when fighting software problems, it's completely
understandible that mistakes happen on email correspondance. However, your
staff really dropped the ball with the people asking to discontinue from the
emails, and your staff owes those folks a sincere apology, your professional
reputation in our industry is better than what transpired today.
I would really enjoy working with you and your group once you get your
system secure and bugs worked out and wish you the best of luck in your
efforts.
If you have questions on our Organic pesticide or fungicide lawn and garden
products, please let me know how I can be of assistance, and once again,
good luck with your system.
Sincerely,
Anthony J Arand
