RE: Miniature Gardens?

Hi Elizabeth...I don't know how popular miniature gardens are...in fact I
had not seen any until very recently when I was at the Canada Blooms Flower
Show and actually saw them for the very first time on display. There were
four of them and I took pictures of them. They are up on the site under the
Pix area, then Canada Blooms 2003. Is this a new trend? It would certainly
be cheaper than putting together a 'real' garden...:)

Subject: [GWL] Miniature Gardens?

Hi all

I¹m doing some research on the trend of miniature gardening and want to make
a the case to a national consumer publication that it¹s a national trend. Do
you or your fellow gardeners have a miniature garden a small garden made
up of small plants like alpines, bonsai or miniatures complement by small
accessories like little houses, little benches, and other small pieces?
Miniature gardens are also known as fairy gardens. I¹d love to be able to
contact miniature gardeners and use images of their gardens as evidence for
this (I hope!) national trend. There's even a chance that this miniature
gardener/ expert could be quoted in the publication. Thanks for your help!
