Re: Miniature Gardens?

Elizabeth - miniature gardens and fairy gardens are two very different things.  The miniature garden just has everything in scale in a miniature way and contains gravel 'streams' small trees etc, the fairy gardens have specific plants that the fairies use eg thyme, ladys mantle etc. 
And yes, they are in many gardens throughtout the midwest to my knowledge!  I did a knot garden in a pot a few yrs ago (don't have a picture of it though).  If you give me time that you need images, I might be able to find one.
