Title: really REALLY bad idea of the year From a newsletter I get.
* A new Web site is promoting itself as a place homeowners can sell
landscape plants. In unsolicited mass e-mailings, Tradeaplant.com tells
readers: "Turn your unwanted backyard plants into Cash!... You can make
100s-1000s of dollars selling mature backyard plants, or just give them
away and save on removal fees." Users list plants they want to sell, and
can search for specimens by plant name. http://www.tradeaplant.com
This sounds like a really fast way to spread insects and disease, both on the plants and in the soil with the plants. Unless I've missed something that gets them off the hook, I urge everyone on this list to protest this site and do their best to stop it.
